Carola Lauritano is the new Clinical Trial Manager of NIB Biotec

We are delighted to introduce Carola Lauritano as the new Clinical Trial Manager at NIB Biotec!

Carola has a strong academic background with a degree in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, a PhD in Medical Pathophysiology, and a Master's in Regulatory Affairs. She brings 9 years of experience as a Clinical Study Coordinator at the AOU City of Health and Science of Turin and has also worked as a consultant with various study centers and foundations.

Since 2020, Carola has been managing clinical trials for the Italian Group for Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IG-IBD), overseeing all aspects from protocol design to regulatory submissions, and supporting investigators throughout the study phases until the final report.

Additionally, she has been a Clinical Monitor for non-profit Phase I/II/III studies promoted by the hospital since 2016, following the required training.

At NIB Biotec, Carola will lead the clinical study for the validation of our ZenPSA-pro test for prostate cancer.
